In 2012, DopeOnigiri initiated his DJ journey in Kobe, achieving rapid acclaim and clinching the Red Bull 3Style 2015 Japan Championship within three years. Post-university, he solidified his standing in Tokyo, performing at esteemed venues like 1OAK Tokyo, Club Harlem, and A-life. His proficiency in open format DJing, coupled with his skill in managing VIP engagements, attracting general admission crowds, and cultivating a diverse international network, positioned him as a sought-after talent for prime weekend performances. DopeOnigiri's influence extends beyond Japan's club scene; as a member of DJcity, the foremost global record pool, he nurtures robust connections with international DJs. His exceptional talent, augmented by the English fluency gained during his formative years in New York, has opened doors to numerous international gigs across the United States, Europe, and China. His commitment to music production is evident in Roots Records, a venture with YUTO, a world champion from the renowned DMC and Goldie Awards. Their collaboration yielded the hit single "ASOBI feat. Candee & Playsson," which garnered over 20 million streams within two years. DopeOnigiri's production credits also include work with prominent artists such as AK-69, Yo-Sea, MaRI, Playsson, and Miyauchi. Utilizing his extensive global contacts, he played a pivotal role as Music Director in launching a leading nightclub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His experience as a club DJ in various locales led him to conduct instructional workshops at Kreatah DJ Skool in Bangkok, Thailand. Celebrated for his dynamic live DJ sets, he is the official DJ for Candee, a vanguard in the J-Hip Hop genre. His exceptional skills and linguistic ability also earned him the role of live DJ for ¥ELLOW BUCKS at Complex Con Hongkong 2025. He also maintains strong connections with both domestic and international athletes. Notably, he has performed at a private party for the Washington Wizards and at a reception hosted at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence for the Chicago Cubs, earning the trust and respect of elite sports professionals.

DopeOnigiriは、2012年に神戸でDJキャリアをスタート。わずか3年でRed Bull University 3Style 2015の日本チャンピオンに輝き、その才能を証明した。大学卒業後は東京に拠点を移し、1OAK Tokyo、Club Harlem、A-lifeといった都内屈指のナイトクラブでレジデントDJとして活躍。DJスキルはもちろんの事、VIPブッキングやGAの集客力、職種、国籍、年齢層を問わない幅広いコネクションが高く評価され、週末のメインタイムを任される存在まで成長した。 国内での活躍に加え、世界最大のレコードプールサイトDJcityに所属し、海外DJとの交流も積極的に行う。幼少期にニューヨークで培ったネイティブレベルの英語力とDJスキルを活かし、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、中国など、世界各国のナイトクラブからもゲストDJとして招聘されている。 また、楽曲制作にも精力的に取り組み、DMCおよびGoldie Awardsの世界チャンピオンであるYUTOと共にRoots Recordsを設立。「ASOBI feat. Candee & Playsson」はリミックスを含めると5000万回再生を超えるバイラルヒットを記録し、AK-69、Yo-Sea、MaRI、Playsson、Miyauchiといった人気アーティストの楽曲プロデュースも手掛けるなど、プロデューサーとしてもその才能を発揮している。 さらに、国際的なネットワークを活かし、マレーシア・クアラルンプールのナイトクラブ立ち上げにミュージックディレクターとして貢献。また、タイ・バンコクのKreatah DJ Skoolでは、その豊富な経験を活かしてワークショップ講師を務めるなど、後進の育成にも力を注いでいる。 近年は、アーティストのライブDJとしても高い評価を獲得。J-Hip Hopシーンを牽引するCandeeの専属DJを務めるほか、Complex Con Hongkong 2025では、¥ELLOW BUCKSのライブDJに抜擢。その卓越したDJスキルと流暢な英語力で、国内外のオーディエンスを魅了している。 また国内外アスリートとも親交があり、過去にはWashington Wizardsのプライベートパーティーや、アメリカ大使公邸で行われたChicago CubsのレセプションパーティーでDJを務め、アスリートたちからの信頼も厚い。
